The Center for After-School Excellence is working to ensure that during the critical hours between 3 and 6 PM, low-income children in New York City and beyond are taught by the best equipped, best trained educators possible. We're building the nation's first citywide, multi-campus university training program for after-school workers. And we're backing our work with ground-breaking research on the effectiveness and impact of after-school.
