Service Director

The Service Director is focused on developing and implementing the site’s comprehensive service strategy, training, evaluation and compliance. The Service Director is responsible for the service team including a training manager, curriculum manager, and operations manager and in collaboration with Zone Director (community-based Program Director) for the successful delivery of City Year’s elementary, middle and high school programs. The Service Director will have responsibility for all standardized service products, including the Heroes continuum (a series of leadership development and service learning programs for elementary, middle school and high school students), and school after-school partnership products.
Program (Zone) Director - 3 positions available in South Bronx, Harlem, Brooklyn/Queens
City Year
The Zone Director will focus on establishing, developing and implementing the site’s service partnerships and strategy and ensuring overall service excellence within a defined community. The Zone Director is responsible for leading Program Managers and AmeriCorps Members in service -related activities and evaluation, managing relationships with current service partners, establishing relationships with community leaders and ensuring resources are secured for successful service.
